"Our mission driven team has the ambitious goal to make a big impact on the lifes of teachers and on education in general. We all feel very strongly about adding something good to the world."

A culture that connects us We all have the same values by heart, but are very proud of the fact that we are all very different. The combination of commercial thinkers, analytical techies and well-experienced teachers, gives us the perfect mix to create our product and to make the users happy. We are a scale-up with a healthy, but very ambitious way of working. We strive to get better everyday and make LessonUp the biggest success possible. We also have a lot of fun, help eachother out, put a lot of effort into personal attention and we love to get positive feedback from our users.

MAKE IMPACT. Our team is very mission driven. We want to impact the lifes of teachers by making their jobs easier and more fun. We want to improve education, by helping teachers in this digital area. We want to help them with their difficulties of (partly) remote teaching. We want to make teaching more interactive and more fun for the students. We want to make this available anywhere and everywhere in the world. Working at LessonUp means feeling this drive to make the world a little bit better.

Make Impact

VALUE #2 GO THE EXTRA MILE We are a fast growing scale-up. We want to make a difference. And to do so, we need people that are very driven. Not to "just" do their job, but to have the urge to make a big impact on the company. You do your job with passion and we have the craving to overachieve. We are not just thinking about what we do today. We are also thinking about what we need tomorrow.

go the extra mile

VALUE #3 MASTER YOUR CRAFT We have a team of people that are truly passionate about what they do. From providing the best service to our customers, to building the most awesome code and writing the best content. They are all true craftsmen. We like to relate on the knowledge of people with great experience, that can act as a specialist in their field and help out the whole team by sharing their expertise. We are proud to have a team of such bright and enthusiastic people.

Master your craft

VALUE #4 BE YOU Our team excist of very different personalities. We strive to be as divers as possible. And even though this can be challenging, we are proud to say that we are equally divided between male and female employers (in leadership and non-leadership functions) and that with our new opportunities to hire more global, we are very excited about hiring more different nationalities. Not only do we believe in equal chances, we are also convinced that this will make our company and product even better then it is today. So please be you and always feel safe and protected doing so!

VALUE #5 FUN & FUNCTION Not only is our team a very talented one, we also have a lot of fun. And ofcourse, we like our parties and believe us, we also know how to throw one... But even more important: we have fun everyday. Working together is fun and we try to set-up team building (online) events as much as we can, to hold on to this feeling. But even our Slack channels are always very "gezellig". Just come and find out yourself!

I want to be a part of this!

Awesome! We can't wait to meet you. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our Head of People Kelly on or directly check out our job opportunities to apply.
